Local History

The Local History collection was started in 1999 and contains works by local authors, as well as works about the area.

There are over 340 books and documents in addition to the 90 reels of microfilmed newspapers and 100 sheets of microfiche. The newspapers date from 1857 to 2001. Current newspapers are also archived.

There are 25 reels of Local Federal Census dating from 1842 to 1901.
