Every adult knows some amount of basic math even if they never liked the subject through school or high school. In fact, if you have a child and hate math then it is about time that you learn some tricks through which your kid will learn to love what you could never manage to. The zeal to be good with math starts at an early age and depends heavily on the way a child is introduced to it. If you hand over a set of multiplication table to a kid and ask him to memorize it he or she shall definitely never like math.
Instead, learn a few funny math games that you can play along with your little one as you two stroll down the road to your car or as you drive him to the school. These tiny games are easy to practice and should not be too mind boggling for your kid. Based on the age, you could either try out games that ingeniously teach addition or try out games that ingeniously mix in subtraction, multiplication and even division.
These games are based around the central concept that kids learn better through stimulation of not just the brain but the senses. For example, when you see a flower, as your kid to count the number of petals for a few of them and return with the number of flowers they counted with the total petal count. A kid who has already started out with multiplication tables shall immediately realize the importance of these tedious tables and learn them faster.
